A passion for learning and helping others to learn
I am Brazilian and I have a passion for learning. At school, I didn't have a preference for any subject; I just wanted to learn as much I as could. I read a lot, not because I like reading but because I am constantly seeking for knowledge.
I like to help other people to learn too. I started tutoring children by chance. One day, when I was 17, the mother of a boy aged 11 came to my door. She said she had heard I was a bright student who liked to help friends do better at school and asked whether I could help her son. I couldn´t refuse helping them. And there came another mother… Suddenly, I had a few children to get busy with.
I excelled at the University. I studied business administration and was awarded #1 student (out of 400) for my academic performance.
After a few years as an executive in the financial markets, I left Brazil in 2002 to pursue my MBA education at Kellogg School of Management, one of the top 10 business schools worldwide.
Then, I moved to Europe, worked for a multinational company and traveled extensively.
I have almost 15 years of work experience in multicultural environments, dealing with customers across Americas, Asia and Europe.
Back in Brazil, I decided to leave the corporate world and help other people pursue the life changing experience of studying and living abroad, an experience that changed me, and an opportunity I recommend to anyone.
